Tamnavulin Double Cask Whisky

With the Tamnavulin Double Cask Whisky appeared in early 2017 for the first time since the long again an original bottling of the distillery from the Scottish village of Tomnavoulin. The Tamnavulin Double Cask Whisky was stored in former bourbon casks before it was allowed to mature in sherry casks. 

The strong amber Tamnavulin Double Cask Whisky smells in the nose fine of chocolate mousse, cream and cane sugar. This is joined by stewed apples and blackberries. The palate is spicy, with subtle hints of cinnamon, cardamom, clove, allspice and cocoa. Further, one tastes yellow plums, barley malt and buttery caramel. The medium-long finish of the Tamnavulin Double Cask Whisky is spicy and sweet at the same time.
