Kalevala Ruby Gin

The Kalevala Ruby Gin is produced on the basis of the well-known Kalevala London Dry. However, the most important production step takes place after distillation: Before the distillate is reduced with water, it is mixed with cranberries and blueberries and left to rest for 2 weeks. The maceration gives the Kalevala Ruby Gin its distinctive fruity yet dry taste and characteristic color. The distillate is then reduced to drinking strength with the best Finnish water.

Due to its bright red color, one expects a full-bodied and sweet berry taste. But the Kalevala Ruby Gin is more subtle. It surprises with an almost earthy berry nuance combined with a balanced and ever-present juniper note. 

Kalevala Ruby Gin is best enjoyed with a premium tonic, garnished with lemon.
