Named after the forbidden fruit of the legendary elephant tree, it combines African influences with Belgian distillation art. As the name suggests, the Marula fruit of the elephant tree is used in its production. Native animals such as monkeys, giraffes and elephants love this fruit because it quickly begins to ferment after falling from the trees and they can get tipsy on the magical effect. For the production of Marula Gin further exclusive botanicals are used such as juniper berries from Tuscany, rose petals from Bulgaria, orange blossoms from Spain, coriander from India and rosemary from Provence.
Also in taste, the Marula Gin makes no secret of its origin. Fruity-sweet with spicy and floral hints, it exudes wonderful southern flair. Thus, it is ideal for pure enjoyment as well as for exotic cocktails.
